I collect the least I can get away with, I use it to text you, and I don't sell any of it. This page says exactly what's collected and by whom — including the part where your visit to this page can be replayed as a video.
The 3-Minute Switch is run by Too Many Hats, LLC, a California limited liability company. "I" and "me" below means that company.
That's the whole list. No card details ever reach me, and I don't buy or append data about you from anywhere else.
Your number is used for one thing: sending you the five coaching texts. They come from my own phone, sent by hand, one at a time. It's a person texting you, not a platform.
It is not sold. Not rented. Not shared with anyone. Not added to a mailing list, an SMS blast tool, or any automated sender. Not uploaded to Meta, Microsoft, or any other ad platform. Reply STOP and I stop texting you.
Payment runs entirely through Stripe, on Stripe's own checkout page at book.stripe.com — a different website from this one. Your card number never touches this site, and I never see it or store it. I see that you paid, plus your name, email and phone number. That's all. Stripe handles your card under its own privacy policy.
After you pay, Stripe sends you back here to a thank-you page. I then text you to ask what time you'd like your daily prompt — that's the only thing I need from you to get started.
Two third-party tools run on this page. Both start as soon as the page loads. Neither one runs on Stripe's checkout page — so neither ever sees your card details.
Your visit to this page can be played back like a video. Clarity records your scrolling, taps, clicks and mouse movement, and builds heatmaps showing where visitors read and where they drop off. I watch these to work out where the page loses people.
It records behaviour, not what you type. Clarity masks the contents of input boxes and dropdowns in every mode — that isn't a setting I picked, it can't be switched off, and masked content is never sent to Microsoft in the first place. There's no form on this page in any case, and Clarity is not installed on the Stripe checkout page, so it never sees your card details, your name, or your number.
Clarity sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser and device. Microsoft's privacy statement.
Records that you visited this page, whether you clicked through to the checkout, and whether you completed a purchase. Meta uses this to measure which of my ads actually work, and to let me show ads again to people who visited.
The purchase itself still happens on Stripe's site, where the pixel does not run. What Meta learns is that a sale happened and that it was $7 — recorded when Stripe returns you to the thank-you page here. Your name, email, phone number and card details are never sent to Meta. It sets cookies and receives your IP, browser and device. Meta's privacy policy.
Neither tool receives your name, email or phone number from this website.
The page works identically either way. Nothing is gated behind letting me measure you.
Your checkout details and scores are kept for 12 months after your five days end, then deleted. Stripe keeps its own payment records for as long as its policy and the tax rules require. Clarity and Meta hold their analytics data on their own schedules, which I don't control — broadly, Clarity keeps session recordings for around 30 days and Meta holds ad and audience data for up to 180 days, per their published policies.
Email doug@dougie.love and ask. I'll delete your number, email and scores, and confirm when it's done. You don't have to give a reason, and you can ask at any point — during the five days or years later. Same address if you want to know what I hold on you, or want it corrected.
This isn't for anyone under 18, and I don't knowingly collect anything from them. If you think I have, email me and it goes.
